Armed Security Guard - DOTD

Background

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is seeking to establish a service contract for Armed Security Guard Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and security of DOTD facilities, specifically at the Caddo Parish Rest and Welcome Center located on I-20 Eastbound in Greenwood, LA. The contract will initially be effective from the date of award until June 30, 2027, with options for two additional one-year renewals, not exceeding a total of 36 months.

Work Details

The contractor will provide Armed Security Guard Services as specified in the solicitation. The services include: 1. Regular Hourly Rate for Armed Guard Service: 4,325 hours. 2. Holiday Hourly Rate for Armed Guard Service: 125 hours. All services must comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

Period of Performance

The initial period of performance begins upon contract award and ends on June 30, 2027. The contract may be renewed for two additional 12-month periods at the same prices.

Place of Performance

Caddo Parish Rest and Welcome Center, I-20 Eastbound, Greenwood, LA 71033.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be licensed with the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners to be considered for award. A current license must be submitted with the bid. Additionally, all bidders must comply with Louisiana law regarding registration and good standing with the Secretary of State if holding a purchase order or contract over $25,000.
