Asco Maintenance Service And Parts

Background

The South Carolina Department of Administration is seeking proposals for maintenance services and parts for ASCO Power Technologies equipment. The Division of Technology Operations (DTO) is responsible for providing enterprise-level technology services to state agencies, ensuring efficient and secure use of information technology. This solicitation aims to establish a five-year contract with a qualified contractor to provide brand name maintenance services and replacement parts necessary for the operation of the DTO's emergency power control system, which is critical for maintaining the agency's Data Center functions.

Work Details

The contractor will provide preventative maintenance, repair services, and parts for ASCO Power Control Systems. Key responsibilities include: 1. Facilitating maintenance and repair services under the Preferred Program as outlined in the solicitation attachments. 2. Performing routine preventative maintenance on an agreed schedule. 3. Obtaining written approval from DTO before any repairs are made. 4. Providing written verification that all repairs meet manufacturer specifications. 5. Being available 24/7/365 for service requests, including emergency notifications requiring an ASCO-certified technician dispatched within four hours. 6. Providing status updates during emergency repair activities until completion. 7. All labor must be coordinated by the contractor and performed by ASCO or authorized personnel, using new genuine ASCO manufactured parts.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on August 4, 2026, and is estimated to end on August 3, 2031, covering a total period of five years.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed primarily at locations designated by the South Carolina Department of Administration's Division of Technology Operations.

Bidder Requirements

Offerors must be authorized and registered ASCO vendors throughout the contract term and must provide documentation confirming their vendor status. Additionally, they must demonstrate capability in performing all contract requirements with integrity and reliability.
