Armed Security Guard Services - LDH

Background

The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) is seeking to establish a service contract for Armed Security Guard Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and security of facilities under the jurisdiction of the LDH. The Office of State Procurement is responsible for managing this solicitation process.

Work Details

The contractor will provide armed security guard services for the LDH, specifically for Acadia Economic Stability located at 600 N. Avenue G, Crowley, LA 70562. The services will include a total of 5,000 hours of security guard services at a regular hourly rate with a minimum wage set at $18.00 per hour. The contract will cover an initial period from the date of award until June 30, 2027, with options for two additional 12-month renewals under the same terms and conditions.

Period of Performance

The initial contract period begins on the date of award and ends on June 30, 2027. The total duration may extend up to 36 months if renewed.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at Acadia Economic Stability, located at 600 N. Avenue G, Crowley, LA 70562.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be licensed with the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners and are required to submit their current license along with their bid response.
