Catering and Meal Services

Background

Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) is seeking supplemental proposals and pricing for catering and meal services to support various district activities, including meetings, staff development, instructional activities, athletic events, and student functions. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive food services that may include delivery, pick-up, and in-restaurant dining. The district aims to award the contract based on the best value for its needs.

Work Details

The contractor will provide food, drinks, snacks, groceries, catering, and meal services. Services must support a wide range of district activities including but not limited to meetings, staff development sessions, instructional activities, athletic events, and various student and holiday functions. Vendors are encouraged to submit all required bid attachments regardless of sole source status. Missing or incomplete information will negatively impact vendor evaluations. The contract may be awarded to multiple proposers or a single proposer at the district's discretion.

Period of Performance

The term of this proposal shall be from September 2026 to September 2029.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various locations within the Lewisville Independent School District.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must comply with specific requirements including submission of a W-9 form, Certificate of Insurance (COI), health department permit, food handling certificate, current menu, and any other required documentation as specified in the RFP. Vendors must also adhere to Senate Bill 9 requirements regarding contact with students and certify that they do not boycott Israel.
