Background The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) is issuing this solicitation for Speech Language Therapy Services for Taos Day School, located in Taos, New Mexico. The goal of this contract is to provide essential speech therapy services to support the educational needs of students at the school. This solicitation is set aside for Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) that are also small business concerns under the Buy Indian Act. Work Details The contractor will provide Speech Language Therapy Services, which includes but is not limited to: - Conducting assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language skills. - Developing individualized therapy plans based on assessment results. - Providing direct therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). - Collaborating with teachers and parents to support student progress. - Maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress. - Participating in IEP meetings as necessary. - Providing training and resources to school staff regarding speech and language development. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract will be from September 9, 2026, through September 8, 2027, with options for four additional years. Place of Performance Services will be performed at Taos Day School, located at 200 Rotten Tree Road, Taos, NM 87571.
