Summary (Newest Update)

Background The Delaware Army National Guard requires two prefabricated security guard booths to provide environmentally controlled, secure workspaces for personnel monitoring access control points. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the booths meet applicable Department of Defense (DoD) and local building codes for relocatable buildings, while also being equipped with necessary functional and force protection features for 24/7 operations. Work Details The contract involves the design, fabrication, and delivery of two prefabricated security guard booths to two separate locations in Delaware. The booths must be fully prefabricated in an enclosed factory setting to ensure quality control. They are intended to replace existing booths currently sized approximately 8’8” x 10’6” (New Castle) and 9’0” x 11’0” (Bethany Beach). The booths must comply with either the Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria or the International Code Council / Modular Building Institute standards.
