Program and Partner Support Services for ECHO Institute Initiatives in Francophone Africa

Background

The contract is issued by the University of New Mexico (UNM) for Project ECHO, which aims to enhance healthcare delivery through innovative educational programs. The goal of this engagement is to provide support for programs and partners of the ECHO Institute primarily located in Francophone Africa, ensuring the effective execution of various initiatives.

Work Details

The consultant, Mr. Konan Assouman Alphonse, will be responsible for supporting ECHO and its partner organizations in strategic and operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of ECHO programs in Francophone Africa. His services include: engaging in strategic planning; providing focused training; offering support and guidance to in-country and regional partners; designing and implementing relevant ECHO programs; collaborating with the UNM ECHO team, other consultants, and local partners to provide technical assistance and operational support.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on June 15, 2025, and will conclude on October 31, 2027.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed primarily in Francophone African countries, with a specific focus on Cote d'Ivoire where Mr. Alphonse is based.

Bidder Requirements

Mr. Alphonse is uniquely qualified as a bilingual (English- and French-speaking) expert who has extensive knowledge of the ECHO model and local cultural requirements. His established relationships with key stakeholders such as ministers of health in various countries make him an indispensable asset for this project.
