Appraisal Services 2026

Background

Jefferson County, Missouri, is seeking proposals for appraisal services for various county projects that require the acquisition of real estate, permanent easements, and temporary easements. The goal of this contract is to provide appraisal services on an as-needed basis to support the county's real estate needs.

Work Details

The contractor will provide the following appraisal services:

Standard Appraisal Format

- Appraisal Assistance (hourly) - Litigation-related Services including: - Appearance at Commissioners’ Viewing

Deposition Time

- Trial Testimony Time. All fee appraisers and review appraisers must be on the Missouri Department of Transportation’s roster of Approved Contract Appraisers and hold a state appraisal certification in good standing with the Missouri Real Estate Appraisers Commission. Proposals should include pricing for each type of service offered.

Period of Performance

The contract will be for one year with an option to renew for two additional one-year terms upon written consent from the awarded vendor.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed within Jefferson County, Missouri.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a current and valid Certificate of Insurance or binder showing required insurance coverage with each bid. The County must be added as an additional insured if awarded. Bidders must also provide proof that they do not owe delinquent real or personal property taxes in Jefferson County, either through tax receipts for the past three years or a notarized affidavit stating they do not own any real estate or personal property in Jefferson County.
