AMI Water and Electric Meter Installation and Service Line Investigation Project

Background

The City of Safford is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to establish a contract for professional services related to the AMI Water and Electric Meter Installation and Service Line Investigation Project. The goal of this project is to enhance the efficiency and reliability of water and electric meter installations, as well as to conduct thorough investigations of service lines.

Work Details

The selected firm will be responsible for providing professional services that include: - Conducting an investigation of existing service lines. - Installing Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) water and electric meters. - Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. - Delivering detailed reports on findings and installations. The firm must demonstrate experience in similar projects and provide all necessary information as outlined in the RFQ.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed from the date of award until project completion, expected to be finalized by July 9, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be conducted within the City of Safford, Arizona.

Bidder Requirements

Firms must submit their qualifications by the specified deadline and are required to notify Troy Bingham with their contact information. The highest-rated proposal that meets all specifications will be awarded the contract. The City reserves the right to waive any minor irregularities in submissions.
