Background The 502d Trainer Development Squadron (TDS) at Joint Base San Antonio – Randolph is responsible for designing, developing, manufacturing, and maintaining training devices and simulators for the Department of War community. Currently, the squadron relies on a shared air compressor owned by another squadron, leading to significant project delays due to maintenance issues and coordination challenges. The procurement of a complete compressed air system is essential to eliminate these delays and ensure timely project completion. Work Details The contractor shall procure and deliver a complete compressed air system with the following specifications: - One (1) 30 HP electric rotary compressor (208v or compatible) with: - Electronic controller - Two-stage filtration system (123 CFM) - Vertical tank of at least 660 gallons/200 psi - Pneumatic no loss drain kit (1227 cfm, 200 psi) installed for the tank - Power Outage Restart feature - Programmable Eco mode for scheduling operation - Ducting to prevent direct exhaust to the roof, including bird screens and galvanized materials. - One (1) 300 CFM air dryer with minimum 3hp using r513a refrigerant. - One (1) oil/water separator with maximum capacity of 390 SCF. - NEMA 4 rated electrical cabinet with emergency shut-off switch. - Construction of a lean-to shelter to cover the compressor and dryer with specific dimensions and materials including: - Size: 10 ft x 15 ft x 10 ft - Support legs/posts made from metal tubing painted to match Building 245. - Roof material: Corrugated R-panel, terra cotta red color. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the product will be delivered to or performed at. Place of Performance Joint Base San Antonio – Randolph, TX. Bidder Requirements This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns. Bidders must meet all requirements specified in the solicitation including providing new and unused materials.
