Background The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) is conducting market research to identify sources capable of procuring and delivering water couplers and necessary ancillary equipment as production and system spares in support of the U.S. SSBN program. The goal of this contract is to ensure the successful execution of these requirements, which are critical to the SSP's mission as a major weapons systems command. Work Details The contractor shall procure and deliver Water Couplers and necessary ancillary equipment as production and system spares in support of the U.S. SSBN program. The specific requirements include: - CLIN 0001 – U.S. Water Coupler Procurement: - Procure and deliver (1) U.S. Water Coupler Material Kit 1. - Procure and deliver (1) U.S. Water Coupler Material Kit 2. - Generate and deliver a Water Coupler Procurement report documenting successful receipt and verification of Water Couplers. - Deliver monthly Financial Status Reports. - Conduct quarterly in-progress reviews through completion. - CLIN 0002 – UK Water Coupler Procurement: - Procure and deliver (1) UK Water Coupler Material Kit. - Generate and deliver a Water Coupler Procurement report documenting successful receipt and verification of Water Couplers. - Deliver monthly Financial Status Reports. - Conduct quarterly in-progress reviews through completion. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the product will be delivered to or performed at. Place of Performance Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Bidder Requirements Bidders must demonstrate recent and relevant past performance data related to the procurement of water couplers, specifically familiarity with the U.S. Navy SSBN, Strategic Weapons System (SWS), Fire Control System, and associated subsystems. Bidders must also provide evidence of minimum qualifications including personnel trained in SWS Fire Control System, experience with procurement from qualified vendors, and understanding of interfaces between SLBM systems and shore-based support facilities.
