Background

Oregon City School District No. 62 is a unified public school district located in the southeast Portland metro-area, serving approximately 7,000 students. The district is undertaking significant renovations to modernize its aging facilities, particularly its elementary schools and Career and Technology Education (CTE) programs at Oregon City High School. This initiative follows the approval of a bond measure in November 2024 aimed at addressing infrastructure challenges and creating modern learning environments.

Work Details

The contract involves providing furniture, fixtures, and equipment supply and installation for six elementary schools undergoing renovations as part of the OCSD 2025 Bond Projects. The specific sites include:

Candy Lane Elementary School

- Holcomb Elementary School (Phase 2)

Gaffney Lane Elementary School

- Redland Elementary School (Phase 3) Proposals must include costs for: - Supply of furniture, fixtures, and equipment - Intermediate storage/staging of manufactured products - Installation services Additionally, proposers are required to coordinate with the project design team for product selections and layouts. Storage must be in a licensed facility accessible for district personnel.

Period of Performance

The expected delivery for Phase 2 sites is early August 2027 with installation to be completed within two weeks. For Phase 3 sites, delivery is expected in early August 2028 with a similar installation timeline.

The work will be performed at various locations within the Oregon City School District including:

Gaffney Lane Elementary School

- Redland Elementary School.

Bidder Requirements

Proposers must confirm they hold a current State of Oregon Business License if providing installation services. They must also demonstrate compliance with Oregon Public Contracting Law including Prevailing Wage Requirements. Insurance coverage details must be provided along with a sample certificate of insurance.
