Chestnut Ridge Building Roof Renovations

Background

West Virginia University (WVU), on behalf of its Board of Governors, is initiating this Request for Bids (RFB) to engage qualified, experienced, and licensed Contractors for roof replacements and repairs at the Chestnut Ridge Building located in Morgantown, West Virginia. The goal of this contract is to ensure the integrity and functionality of the building's roof.

Work Details

The contractor will provide all necessary materials, installation services, tools, equipment, and labor required to complete the roof replacements and repairs for the WVU Chestnut Ridge Building. This includes but is not limited to: assessing the current roof condition, removing existing roofing materials, installing new roofing systems as specified in the project documents, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and completing all work in accordance with the specifications provided by WVU.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to achieve Substantial Completion by November 13, 2026, and Final Completion by November 30, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the WVU Chestnut Ridge Building located at 886 Chestnut Ridge Road, Morgantown, West Virginia.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be qualified contractors with relevant experience and licenses. Required documentation includes Minimum Qualifications, Bid Bond, Drug-Free Affidavit among others. Contractors must also comply with WVU's EH&S Contractor Safety Program.
