Background

The Town of Normal is seeking qualified contractors to perform concrete pavement joint or crack routing/saw cutting and filling on various roads in Normal, IL. This project aims to maintain and improve the town's infrastructure, ensuring safe and durable road surfaces for the community. Work Details

The project involves approximately 175,973 linear feet (LF) of joint or crack routing and 54,555 pounds (LB) of joint or crack filling. The specific locations for this work include Fort Jesse Road, Greenbriar Drive, Hershey Road, Shepard Road, Julia Duff Street, Frontage Road, and Parkside Road. The contractor will be responsible for the routing/saw cutting of existing cracks and joints in the pavement followed by filling these with appropriate materials to extend the life of the pavement.

The contract work is expected to commence after the bid award on June 25, 2026, with specific timelines for completion outlined in the contract documents.
