OR99 Junction City Crack Sealing

Background

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking a qualified contractor to perform crack sealing on OR99 in Junction City. This project aims to maintain and enhance the roadway's integrity, ensuring safety and longevity for users. The contract will involve comprehensive work that includes labor, materials, equipment, and all necessary permits to complete the project as specified in the contract documents.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: - Mobilization to the site - Setup, teardown, and monitoring of traffic control devices - ACP crack cleaning and sealing - All incidental work necessary for completion. The estimated quantity for crack sealing is approximately 95,000 linear feet. The contractor must ensure that no crack sealing is performed over existing striping or legends and bars. The work must adhere to specifications outlined in Exhibit 5 and Exhibit 6 of the contract documents.

Period of Performance

The period of performance for this contract is from the effective date of the contract until substantial completion by October 2, 2026, with final completion due by October 9, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will take place along OR99 in Junction City, located in Lane County, Oregon.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates as established by the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI). Contractors are required to have a written policy preventing sexual harassment and discrimination against employees who are members of a protected class. Additionally, contractors must not discriminate against disadvantaged business enterprises or any minority-owned businesses in obtaining subcontracts. All subcontractors performing work subject to licensing requirements must be licensed with the appropriate boards.
