ESB - ODOT N Portland MS Overhead Door Replacements

Background

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking to establish a contract for the replacement of overhead doors at the North Portland Maintenance Station. This initiative aims to enhance the facility's operational efficiency and safety by ensuring that all overhead doors are functional and up to current standards. The contract will benefit ODOT by providing necessary upgrades to its maintenance facilities.

Work Details

The work under this contract includes: 1. Removal of existing overhead doors and operators at specified locations. 2. Installation of new overhead doors and operators at overhead doors 7 and 8 (2 units). 3. An add alternate for the removal and replacement of an existing overhead door and operator at overhead door 6 (1 unit). 4. An additional add alternate for replacing an existing overhead door at bay 1, excluding the motor system (1 unit). The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and services necessary for the completion of this project.

Period of Performance

The period of performance for this contract is from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed until substantial completion by August 31, 2026, with final completion expected by September 15, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the ODOT North Portland Maintenance Station located at 1100 N Columbia Blvd, Portland, OR 97217.

Bidder Requirements

This solicitation is restricted to qualified contractors certified as Emerging Small Businesses (ESB) by the State of Oregon. The selected contractor must perform at least 51% of the labor using their own workforce as per ORS guidelines. Additionally, bidders must comply with all insurance requirements specified in the RFCQ.
