Electronic Recycling Program

Background

The DeKalb County School District (DCSD) is a public school system located in the fourth largest county in Georgia, serving approximately 93,000 students across 139 schools. DCSD aims to provide quality education and improve student learning. The district is seeking qualified vendors to submit proposals for an Electronic Recycling Program, which will include comprehensive services necessary for the recycling of electronic waste.

Work Details

The awarded vendor(s) will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, specialized equipment, supplies, trained personnel, insurance, travel, and any other costs associated with the execution of the Electronic Recycling Program. Services must comply with all specifications and requirements outlined in the RFQu document. There shall be no additional charges beyond those specified in the proposal. DCSD reserves the right to make multiple awards based on proposals received.

Period of Performance

The contract is expected to commence around October 2026 and will initially last for one year from the date of execution. There are options for up to four one-year extensions contingent upon approval from DCSD and acceptance by the successful offeror.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at various locations within DeKalb County School District as specified by DCSD.

Bidder Requirements

Offerors must provide a valid business license and comply with insurance requirements as set forth by DCSD's Risk Management. A criminal background check is required for all individuals providing services on DCSD premises. Offerors must also complete forms related to immigration compliance as per the Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act of 2011. Additionally, bidders must certify non-collusion and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
