Pricetown Road Sanitary Sewer Extension

Background

Alsace Township is seeking sealed bids for the Pricetown Road Sanitary Sewer Extension project, which is partially funded by a COVID-19 ARPA H2O PA Grant. The grant funds must be utilized by August 15, 2026. The contract duration will extend to 120 days from the Notice to Proceed. The project aims to enhance the sanitary sewer infrastructure in the township.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for all labor, equipment, materials, and facilities necessary to construct the Pricetown Road Sanitary Sewer Extension. This includes: - Site work - Erosion and sedimentation control - Traffic control - Installation of gravity sanitary sewer - Installation of gravity sanitary sewer manholes - Installation of sanitary sewer lateral connections - Restoration of driveway, pavement, lawn, concrete, and other disturbed areas - Testing and televising of the sewer system.

Period of Performance

The contract will last for 120 days from the Notice to Proceed. All materials must be ordered and invoiced before August 15, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will take place in Alsace Township, Pennsylvania.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a 10% Bid Bond, a 100% Performance Bond, a 100% Payment Bond, and a 10% Maintenance Bond. Contractors are required to have insurance coverage as specified in the contract documents. Bidders must comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and submit a Non-collusion Affidavit.
