The South Hills Area Council of Governments (SHACOG) is a cooperative venture of its member municipalities, aimed at facilitating procurement processes for various services. Work Details

The contract involves the following services: 1. **Inspection and Service Testing of Fire Hose**: Approximately 161,406 feet of fire hose will be inspected and tested across sixteen participating fire departments. The inspection must comply with NFPA Standard 1962. 2. **Inspection and Service Testing of Ground Ladders**: About 4,429 feet of ground ladders will be inspected at fifteen fire departments, adhering to NFPA Standard 1932. 3. **Inspection and Service Testing of Aerial Devices**: Annual inspections and service testing for approximately eight aerial devices at eight fire departments will be conducted, following NFPA Standard 1911. 4. **Performance Testing of Fire Pumps**: The contractor will perform annual performance testing on twenty-seven fire pumps across eleven fire departments in accordance with NFPA Standard 1911.
