Work Details

Compliance with American Medical Association (AMA) Standards, Pennsylvania Department of Corrections (DOC) directives, National Commission on Correctional Health Care requirements, and Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations. 3. Nursing coverage at the Youth Center from Monday to Sunday with specific hours for medication distribution. 4. Physician visits at least twice a week at the Youth Center with emergency medical arrangements as needed. 5. Comprehensive health assessments within 14 days of inmate admission including mental health evaluations. 6. Detoxification programs for inmates suffering from substance abuse. 7. Emergency services with 24-hour on-call medical staff. 8. Ancillary services including laboratory tests, radiology, and dental care. 9. Maintenance of complete medical records for each inmate in compliance with legal requirements.
