CTXVA Atrium Bird Netting

Summary: Background The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of bird netting over the Atrium located in Building 204. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and functionality of the Atrium area by providing necessary labor and materials for the project. Work Details The contractor will provide labor and materials required to replace the bird netting over the Atrium. The contractor must submit a safety plan that complies with OSHA and VA regulations, including a Safety and Health Policy, Job Site Inspections, Personal Protective Equipment requirements, and Emergency Procedures. The contractor is also responsible for ensuring that all employees conduct themselves professionally and safely, removing any employee for misconduct or security reasons. Weekly safety inspections will be conducted by the VA to ensure compliance with safety standards. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the contract will be performed (if provided) Place of Performance The work will be performed at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care Network located at Building 204, Temple, TX. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). They are required to have relevant past performance within the last five years in similar work size and scope. Additionally, contractors must comply with OSHA training requirements for their employees.
