Summary: Background The Marine Corps Installations East (MCIEAST) at Camp Lejeune is seeking qualified vendors to provide non-personal support services for managing and operating Transportation Maintenance and Operations Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure efficient operations by providing comprehensive vehicle transportation support services critical to the mission of the Marine Corps Base. This includes a range of managerial, administrative, and supervisory services. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for a variety of tasks including: dispatching, vehicle operation, wrecker service, vehicle maintenance (diagnostics and repairs), vehicle escort, vehicle washing, roadside assistance, service inspections, and licensing services which encompass training, testing, and permit issuance. Specific duties include: 1. Transition Plan for integrating key personnel into operations. 2. Transportation Operations Services involving movement of personnel and cargo. 3. Maintenance Services including preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on various vehicles. 4. Wrecker Services for towing disabled vehicles and roadside assistance during normal and after working hours. 5. Vehicle Licensing Program management including training and testing of operators. 6. Compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the contract will be performed (if provided) Place of Performance The services will be performed at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune/New River Complex in North Carolina.
