The purpose of this contract is to establish a structured testing process to verify the reliability and mechanical integrity of the firefighting vehicles. Testing will be conducted in alignment with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1911 and other applicable standards, including manufacturer guidelines and local regulations. The results will inform maintenance and repair actions to sustain fleet readiness and ensure continued operational effectiveness. 5 CLINS, one for each Fire Engine Vehicle. Base + 4 option years. Responses will be posted via an amendment to this solicitation. Offerors will have an opportunity to review the responses to RFIs prior to submitting their quotes. Background The 316th Civil Engineering Squadron (CES) is issuing this contract to establish a structured testing process aimed at verifying the reliability and mechanical integrity of firefighting vehicles. The goal of this contract is to ensure fleet readiness and maintain operational effectiveness through informed maintenance and repair actions. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for conducting performance testing on firefighting vehicles, specifically five Fire Engine Vehicles, under this contract. The services must comply with the NFPA 1911 standards for inspection, maintenance, testing, and retirement of in-service emergency vehicles. The contractor is required to provide all necessary resources to complete the tasks outlined in the contract documents. This includes providing material handling equipment suitable for moving all equipment necessary to accomplish the work. Additionally, no government resources beyond basic amenities such as restrooms and drinking water will be made available to the contractor. Period of Performance Base year plus four option years. Place of Performance The geographic location(s) the contract will be performed (if provided). Bidder Requirements This opportunity is a Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA). Bidders must have the necessary qualifications and experience related to NFPA 1911 standards for emergency vehicle performance testing.
