Purchase of Wood and Materials

Background

The Gwinnett County Department of Financial Services is issuing a solicitation for the purchase of wood and materials. The contractor will supply the following items: 1. 28 units of 2x4x16 #2 Pressure Treated Pine 2. 320 units of 2x4x104-5/8 #2 Premium SPF 3. 48 units of 2x4x16 #2 Premium SPF 4. 12 units of 2x10x12 #2 pine 5. 120 units of 2x10x16 #2 pine 6. 4 units of Hollow Metal Window (72”x48”) 7. 4 units of Hollow Metal Door-Half Light (36”x84”) unit 8. 150 units of 5/8" Plywood Sheathing / CDX – 4' x 8' 9. 150 units of 1/2" Plywood (4’X8’) 10. 24 units of 1x6x16 Wood Cap 11. 24 units of 1x2x16 Wood Trim 12. 50 pounds of 16d (3-1/2 inch) nails, 9 gauge 13. 25 pounds of 3" Structural Wood Screws 14. 50 pounds of 8d (2-3/8 x0.131-inch) nails. All unit prices must include all charges, including delivery to the specified destination at Gwinnett County Department of Transportation.

Period of Performance

The quotes should be received by June 18, 2026, by noon, with delivery expected as soon as possible after order placement.

Place of Performance

Delivery is to be made to Gwinnett County Department of Transportation, Attn: Darrell Prince, located at 620 Winder Highway, Lawrenceville, GA.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must not be on the Gwinnett County ineligible source list and must comply with all specifications outlined in the solicitation document. Vendors are required to submit a signed certification of non-collusion in quote preparation and may need to provide samples at their expense within five business days if requested.
