Background

The Kenton County Airport Board (KCAB) is soliciting bids for On-Call Painting Services at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). The goal is to establish a contract with a contractor to provide painting services on an 'as needed' basis, ensuring that the airport facilities are maintained and visually appealing.

Work Details

The successful bidder ('Contractor') must provide on-call painting services at CVG. Services include, but are not limited to: painting garage stalls, storage tanks, office areas in KCAB owned or leased buildings, public and private areas inside KCAB owned or leased buildings, platforms and mezzanines, and light poles. Pavement markings are excluded from this bid. The Contractor must respond to scheduled work according to mutually agreed schedules with KCAB and must be able to begin regular service requests no later than 14 days from initial contact. Services must be available 24/7 including holidays. The Contractor must ensure all work conforms to state and federal regulations, KCAB rules, and local building codes.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on October 1, 2026, and continue until September 30, 2029, with an option for two additional one-year renewals.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide hourly service rates for various services as outlined in the Pricing Proposal section. They must have experience providing commercial painting services to government agencies or similar entities. Bidders are required to submit a Certificate of Insurance and comply with all insurance requirements specified in the contract. Additionally, preference will be given to Kentucky resident bidders.
