Electronic Recycling Program

Background

The DeKalb County School District (DCSD) is a public school system located in the fourth largest county in Georgia, serving approximately 93,000 students across 139 schools. DCSD aims to provide quality education and is seeking qualified vendors to submit proposals for its Electronic Recycling Program. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper recycling of electronic waste while adhering to the specifications and requirements outlined in this RFQu.

Work Details

The awarded vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive electronic recycling services, which include all labor, materials, tools, specialized equipment, supplies, trained personnel, insurance, travel, per diem, administrative costs, and any other necessary services to fulfill the requirements of the RFQu. The vendor must ensure that there are no add-on charges of any kind. Services must comply with all specified terms and conditions.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on or about October 2026 and will initially last for one year from the execution date. There are options for up to four one-year extensions contingent upon DCSD's approval.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various locations within the DeKalb County School District in Georgia.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a Certificate of Insurance upon submission and maintain required insurance throughout the contract term. A criminal background check is mandatory for all individuals providing services on DCSD premises. Bidders must also comply with the Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act of 2011 by submitting necessary affidavits. Additionally, bidders must submit valid business licenses and financial statements for the previous two years.
