CISCO Equipment Maintenance and Support

Background

The Maryland Insurance Administration (MIA) is seeking to renew its maintenance agreement with Cisco Systems for warranty and support of Cisco equipment. This contract aims to ensure continued operational support for the agency's technology infrastructure, which is critical for fulfilling its mission of regulating the insurance industry in Maryland.

Work Details

The contract includes maintenance and support services for Cisco equipment under the Smartnet program. All items must be co-termed to have an end date of June 30, 2027. The services provided will encompass warranty coverage, technical support, and software updates as specified in Attachment I - Smartnet CISCO Equipment Maintenance and Support - Scope Of Work (SOW). The Master Contractor must also provide a Letter of Authorization from Cisco, confirm they are an authorized reseller, and include a screenshot of the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) with their bid.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon notice to proceed (NTP) and will continue until June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at the Maryland Insurance Administration located at 200 St. Paul Place, Suite 2700, Baltimore, Maryland 21202.

Bidder Requirements

This is a Small Business Reserve Procurement limited to certified small business vendors as defined by the State Finance and Procurement Article. Bidders must be current Master Contractors under the Hardware Master Contract 060B2490022. They must provide a Mercury Affidavit and comply with invoicing requirements as outlined in COMAR regulations.
