Rocket LDAP License and Support - 3 Years

Background

The Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services is seeking ongoing licensing and support for Rocket LDAP Bridge mainframe software. The goal of this contract is to ensure secure data transmission between systems, specifically between IBM servers. This solicitation is part of a Small Business Reserve Procurement, limited to certified small business vendors under the State Finance and Procurement Article.

Work Details

The contract includes the following services and products: 1) Ongoing license and support for Rocket LDAP Bridge software, which facilitates secure data transmission; 2) Installation and training services related to the software; 3) Manufacturer's software maintenance for three years, covering the following maintenance periods: - SEC-LDAP-MS-100 from August 1, 2026 to July 31, 2027; - SEC-LDAP-MS-101 from August 1, 2027 to July 31, 2028; - SEC-LDAP-MS-102 from August 1, 2028 to July 31, 2029. The Master Contractor must provide new and unused software without imposing restocking fees for returns due to damage or incorrect shipments.

Period of Performance

The period of performance for this contract spans three years, starting from August 1, 2026 and ending on July 31, 2029.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services Information Technology and Communications Division located at 6776 Reisterstown Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21215.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be Master Contractors under the Commercial Off-the-Shelf Software (COTS) Master Contract (060B2490021) authorized for IBM products. They must also provide a Letter of Authorization from the manufacturer if requested. Only certified small business vendors are eligible to bid.
