Work Details

The scope of services requested includes: 1. Pharmacy Operations & Dispensing: Central-fill, remote dispensing, or hybrid service models; standard and STAT order processing timelines; courier services for STAT orders; packaging solutions for medication passes; processes for controlled substance dispensing compliant with regulations; after-hours support models. 2. Medication Distribution & Delivery Logistics: Delivery routes and frequency to facilities; contingency planning for delays; systems for tracking deliveries and maintaining chain of custody. 3. Clinical Pharmacy Services: Support for chronic disease management, psychiatric care, medication therapy management; drug utilization review; formulary management. 4. Technology Integration: Integration with IDOC electronic health record systems; reporting on utilization trends and compliance metrics; telepharmacy options. 5. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Adherence to standards set by Indiana Board of Pharmacy, DEA, HIPAA; quality assurance processes; staffing qualifications and credentialing requirements.
