Background The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is issuing this contract for the supply and delivery of materials for the Corona Arch Parking Exit Road project. The goal is to enhance access to the Corona Arch Trailhead, which is a popular recreational area located approximately 14 miles west of Moab, Utah. This project aims to provide necessary gravel materials and water truck services to support government operations for placement and compaction of the delivered materials. Work Details The contractor is required to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials necessary to supply and deliver approximately 276 tons of 2-inch Granular Borrow and 184 tons of 1-1/2-inch Untreated Base Course (UTBC) to the Corona Arch Trailhead Parking Lot. The specific items include: - Item No. 00010: 2-inch Granular Borrow - Quantity: 276 TN - Item No. 00020: Untreated Base Course - Quantity: 184 TN - Item No. 00030: Water Truck - Quantity: 1 LS The contractor must also provide a water truck with a minimum tank capacity of 2,000 gallons, equipped with spray equipment capable of uniform water application, operated by a qualified driver. The water truck must be available on-site Monday through Thursday for approximately 10 hours per day for an estimated three weeks. Period of Performance 30 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). Place of Performance Corona Arch Trailhead parking area, approximately 14 miles west of Moab, Utah. Bidder Requirements This solicitation is set aside for Small Business participation. Bidders must demonstrate the ability to furnish material that meets specified gradation requirements and provide recent sieve analysis test results or commit to providing current test results from an independent laboratory prior to delivery. Bidders must also demonstrate delivery capability with suitable vehicles and provide a water truck meeting specified requirements.
