Summary: Background The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking a licensed fire systems contractor to replace the existing Firelite Fire Alarm System Control Panel at the Lake Powell School in Bullfrog, Utah. The current system is experiencing issues due to age, which poses a risk to the safety of students, teachers, staff, and visitors. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the new fire alarm system meets current fire safety codes and provides reliable protection. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary for the replacement of the fire alarm system. Specific tasks include: - Performing a site assessment to determine required components by code; - Removing the existing system; - Installing a new system that includes a Notifier Addressable Firewarden Panel, Honeywell PS Series Power Supply, various batteries, detectors, modules, strobe lights, and pull stations; - Testing all components individually and as a complete system; - Restoring work areas to their previous conditions; - Providing documentation and basic instruction to school staff. Period of Performance The work shall be completed within 30 calendar days from the start date provided on the Notice to Proceed.
