District Wide Plumbing Repair Services

Background

The Christina School District in the State of Delaware is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for District Wide Plumbing Repair Services under Contract No. CHR26016-DWPLMB. The goal of this RFP is to identify qualified vendors to provide plumbing repair services that meet the needs of the district's facilities.

Work Details

The selected vendor(s) will be responsible for providing all equipment, materials, and labor necessary for plumbing maintenance and repairs across the district. This includes tasks such as laying out, installing, replacing, piping, and testing plumbing services and systems. Specific systems involved include domestic water, heating, cooling, hot water systems, conditioned water systems, sanitary sewer, and storm systems. Services will encompass installing and repairing piping and fixtures, as well as maintenance or replacement of commodes, urinals, drinking fountains, water spray features, and plumbing related to heating and air conditioning systems. Additional plumbing-related issues as they arise will also be addressed.

Period of Performance

The contract will be valid for a period of three (3) years with a start date to be determined (TBD). There is an option for two (2) additional one-year renewals through negotiation between the vendor and the Christina School District.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various locations within the Christina School District in Delaware.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must provide proof of Delaware business licensure or initiate the application process prior to contract execution. They must also furnish proof of insurance as specified in the bid solicitation. Subcontracting is not permitted under this RFP.
