Background

The City of Milton is seeking bids for the Gunston Hall Circle Rehabilitation Project, which aims to enhance the roadway infrastructure. Work Details

The scope of work includes: - Installation of geogrid and backfill material - Reconstruction of roadway, curb, and gutter - Associated road shoulder work The project must adhere to Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) standards and specifications. The contractor is responsible for marking limits of disturbance before clearing begins, marking trees for removal with city personnel, and providing final as-builts in DWG format. All work must comply with GDOT specifications, including quality control testing of materials. The contractor must also coordinate utility relocations as necessary.

Period of Performance

The project is expected to commence within ten (10) calendar days following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed and must be completed by September 30, 2026.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be pre-qualified contractors listed on the current Georgia Department of Transportation Pre-Qualified Contractors list. A bid bond equal to 5% of the base bid is required upon submission. Contractors must also provide proof of insurance meeting specified minimum limits and comply with all local regulations regarding permits and inspections.
