Background

Bartow County is seeking qualified consultants to provide engineering design services for the Hamilton Crossing Safe Roads to Schools and Safety Project. The project aims to redesign the intersection of Hamilton Crossing Road and Fire Tower Road, focusing on mitigating traffic congestion, enhancing safety, and promoting efficient traffic flow during peak hours. The selected consultant will work closely with Bartow County and the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) throughout the design process.

Work Details

The scope of work includes: 1. Designing a roundabout at the intersection of Hamilton Crossing Road and Fire Tower Road to accommodate current and future traffic demands. 2. Addressing safety concerns and improving traffic operations, particularly during peak hours. 3. Bidder Requirements

Firms must be prequalified in the relevant Area Classes as specified by GDOT to be eligible for consideration. Additionally, firms must submit a certification form and comply with Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act requirements.
