Fire Station 7 Generator Replacement

Work Requested

The Department of Public Works is seeking a qualified contractor to perform the following work at Fire Station 7: - Remove the existing 300 kW diesel-fueled emergency generator. - Supply and install a new 150 kW diesel-fueled emergency generator in its place.

Background

The current emergency generator at Fire Station 7 is a 300 kW diesel-fueled unit. The department intends to replace this with a new, smaller 150 kW diesel-fueled emergency generator to ensure continued reliable backup power for the facility.

Contract Requirements

The selected contractor must be qualified to remove and properly dispose of the existing generator, as well as supply and install the new 150 kW diesel-fueled emergency generator in accordance with all applicable codes and regulations.
