Design Build Interest Meeting - Runnymede Water Infrastructure Improvements

Background

The City of Winston-Salem is issuing a notice to inform interested teams and firms about an upcoming Progressive Design-Build project focused on the Runnymede Water Infrastructure Improvements. The project aims to enhance water infrastructure in the area, aligning with the city's mission to improve public utilities and services.

Work Details

The project will involve the construction of approximately 1,200 linear feet of new sewer main along Runnymede Road, including associated services such as abandonment or removal of existing aerial sewer service crossings. Additionally, it will include approximately 1,000 to 1,200 linear feet of stream restoration and stabilization along Runnymede Branch within Runnymede Park. Furthermore, there will be an analysis and upgrade of approximately 800 linear feet of downstream stormwater infrastructure between Runnymede Park and Northwest Boulevard.

Period of Performance

The selection process for the project is expected to conclude in September 2026. An Industry Day event is scheduled for June 15, 2026, at which networking opportunities will be provided.

Place of Performance

The work will primarily take place in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, specifically along Runnymede Road and within Runnymede Park.

Bidder Requirements
