Background

Iowa Workforce Development is seeking proposals from qualified market research companies with expertise in complex data collection and surveying. Work Details

The contractor will perform phone surveying and data collection for laborshed studies. This includes analyzing various workforce-related factors such as: - Residential locations and commuting patterns of workers - Distance and travel time individuals are willing to commute for employment - Current occupations and industries of employed individuals - Wage expectations and desired compensation levels - Education levels and certifications - Workforce skills and underemployment rates - Desired employee benefits and workplace preferences - Availability of workers likely to change or accept employment - Workforce participation trends - Job search methods utilized by workers - Desired occupations and hours worked. The studies will provide valuable labor market intelligence to support workforce development initiatives and economic strategies.

Period of Performance

The contract will have an initial term of one (1) year from the date of contract execution. The State has the option to renew the contract for up to five (5) additional one-year terms at its discretion.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed within the state of Iowa as part of the laborshed studies.

Bidder Requirements

Respondents must complete Form 22 regarding confidential information as part of their proposal submission. They must also read and agree to the contractual terms outlined in the solicitation without changes unless explicitly accepted by the Agency.
