The MFIP program emphasizes connecting participants to the labor force through paid work, education, or training activities that promote self-sufficiency.

Work Details

The selected agencies will be responsible for providing a range of employment services including: - Assessment of participants - Development of employment plans - Job search assistance - Job skills training - Job placement services - Links to educational resources - Referrals to other service providers - Career planning and coaching - Retention services for employed participants - Culturally informed services - Support services such as transportation and childcare applications. The total dollar amount available for 2027 MFIP Employment Services is estimated at $1.3 million with an expected annual referral of around 1,200 participants.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on January 1, 2027, and will expire on December 31, 2031. It may automatically renew on a month-to-month basis until a new agreement is signed or the contract is otherwise terminated.

Place of Performance

Services are expected to be provided in Olmsted County with a preference for locations in Rochester that are accessible by public transport.
