Furnishing and Delivery of Milk and Dairy Products to Participating Members of the Atlantic County Cooperative

Background

The County of Atlantic, New Jersey, is issuing this bid for the furnishing and delivery of milk and dairy products to participating members of the Atlantic County Cooperative. The goal of this contract is to ensure a reliable supply of these essential products to various agencies within the cooperative, supporting their operational needs.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing a variety of milk and dairy products as specified in the bid documents. This includes ensuring compliance with all terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements set forth in the solicitation. The contractor must also adhere to the Atlantic County Solid Waste Management Plan and Recycling Plan during the performance of work. This includes proper disposal of solid waste and recycling of designated materials such as glass containers, newspapers, aluminum cans, office paper, computer paper, and cardboard. Additionally, all items delivered must meet specified quality standards and be inspected upon delivery for compliance with these specifications.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period specified in the bid documents, with prices quoted remaining firm for at least ninety (90) days to allow for evaluation and award.

Place of Performance

The delivery locations will vary as per the needs of participating members within the Atlantic County Cooperative.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with several requirements including: submission of a valid New Jersey Business Registration Certificate; completion of a Non-Collusion Affidavit; adherence to affirmative action requirements; certification regarding investment activities in Iran; and compliance with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are also required to submit specific documents at the time of bid submission including a Proposal Form and Ownership Disclosure Statement. Failure to submit any required documents will result in automatic rejection of the bid.
