Regent Web-Based Design, Content, and Template Platform

Background

The University of Iowa and Iowa State University, collectively referred to as the Regent Universities, are seeking proposals from qualified suppliers to provide a Web-Based Design, Content, and Template Platform. The goal is to implement a platform that supports branded communications through customizable templates, shared asset libraries, and collaborative workflows. This initiative aims to enhance visual communications for coursework, presentations, campus communications, and marketing purposes while ensuring central administration and governance for distinct user populations such as students, faculty, and staff.

Work Details

The selected supplier will provide a platform solution that includes: - Creation of branded communications through customizable templates. - Shared asset libraries for collaborative workflows. - Central administration capabilities for managing distinct user populations (students, faculty, staff). - Support for concurrent collaboration on projects. - Integration with institutional systems. - Compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508). - Provision of detailed proposals outlining advantages and benefits to the universities.

Period of Performance

The contract will be awarded for an initial term of three years with an option to renew for one additional three-year period.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at the campuses of the University of Iowa in Iowa City and Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must demonstrate financial stability by providing audited financial statements for the past three years. They must also comply with insurance requirements including general liability insurance ($1 million per occurrence), errors and omissions insurance ($1 million), and workers' compensation as mandated by Iowa law. Additionally, bidders should have experience working with similar institutions and provide references from previous clients.
