Background

The University of Minnesota Facilities Management is seeking proposals for Reverse Osmosis (RO) and De-ionized Water (DI) Tank Exchange Services. The goal is to provide these services for sixty-five (65) systems across three campuses in the Twin Cities Districts: East Bank, Health Sciences, and St. Paul. The awarded contractor must have a responsive workforce capable of fulfilling the requirements set by the University.

Work Details

The contractor will provide RO and DI Tank Exchange Services for fifty-six (56) systems located on the East Bank, Health Sciences, and St. Paul campuses. Key responsibilities include: - Conducting tank exchanges based on a pre-determined schedule or on-demand requests from Team Managers. - Coordinating with District Team Managers for scheduling tank exchanges and ensuring tanks are marked with exchange dates upon completion. - Providing a tank exchange schedule prior to contract commencement and adjusting frequency based on facility needs. - Ensuring timely response for on-demand requests, committing to be onsite the next business day when requested. - Managing access to district buildings by checking out keys/access cards and being responsible for any lost or damaged items. - Reporting any missing RO/DI systems to the Team Manager and documenting in service reports. - If necessary, obtaining permits for system transitions or associated project work at the contractor's expense. - Covering costs related to training required for services on campus.

The contract duration will commence upon award and will include ongoing services as per the established schedules.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at three locations within the Twin Cities Campus Districts: East Bank, Health Sciences, and St. Paul.
