Background

The State of Alaska, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA), Alaska Air National Guard is soliciting quotes from qualified vendors for the procurement of one (1) 400Hz dual output solid-state Ground Power Unit (GPU). This equipment is essential for supporting C-17 aircraft operations.

Work Details

The contractor is required to provide a 400Hz Ground Power Unit (GPU) that meets or exceeds the specifications of the ITW GSE Model 2400 Solid State Frequency Converter. The specifications include: - Type: 3GWF-200/260-N - Part No.: 578.650 - Input: 3 x 460 V +/- 15%, 3 x 123 A +/- 15%, 3W+PE, 50/60Hz - Output: 200 V, 260 A, 90 kVA, PF1, 3W+N, 400Hz - Number of outputs: 2 (each rated at 90 kVA) - Weight: approximately 683 lbs - Fixed, upright unit. The vendor must also provide the Operations and Maintenance Manual and Warranty Information prior to final payment. Compliance with the “Build America Buy America” Act is mandatory, and a Material Origin Form must be completed.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be fulfilled by June 17, 2026.

Place of Performance

Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska.
