Wastewater Decommissioning

Background

The Littleton Electric Light & Water Department (LELWD) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB #2026) for the decommissioning and site restoration of the wastewater plant located at 56 King Street, Littleton, Massachusetts. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper decommissioning of the facility and restoration of the site.

Work Details

The contract involves the complete decommissioning of the wastewater plant, which includes all necessary site restoration activities. Bidder Requirements

Bidders must complete a one-time registration process on lelwd.com to receive the scope of work and bid documents. A bid deposit equal to 5% of the total bid amount is required in the form of a certified check, bid bond, or cashier’s check. The successful bidder must provide a payment bond equal to 50% of the total bid amount with a surety company qualified in Massachusetts. All bids are subject to Massachusetts bidding laws and minimum wage rates as determined by the Department of Labor Standards.
