Exterior Doors

Background

Corunna Public Schools is seeking proposals for the furnishing and installation of exterior doors across multiple school sites. The goal of this contract is to enhance the security and functionality of school entrances while ensuring that the selected products provide the best value for the district. The Board of Education reserves the right to award the bid based on suitability and value rather than solely on cost.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and installing various types of exterior doors at Corunna High School, Corunna Middle School, and Elsa Meyer Elementary School. Specific requirements include: - **Corunna High School**: Installation of multiple pairs of FRP doors, aluminum thresholds, panic devices, hinges, adjustable sweeps, and other hardware across different locations including courtyard banks and janitor closets. - **Corunna Middle School**: Installation of several DKB aluminum frames and FRP doors with associated hardware. - **Elsa Meyer Elementary School**: Similar installations as above with specific door numbers listed. All bids must include removal of old doors, delivery, installation to the point of use, and instruction in use and care where necessary.

Period of Performance

The contract work must be completed on-site and installed by August 16, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at various locations within Corunna Public Schools in Corunna, Michigan.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide company information including name, location, years in business, local office details, and primary contact information. Separate pricing must be provided for each district site as well as a bundled price for all sites. Bidders should ensure compliance with all relevant Federal, State, and local laws. Performance bonds and insurance certificates may be required upon request.
