Work Details

The contract involves annual maintenance and software upgrades for three (3) Crime Lab/ERT LiDAR scanners provided by Faro Technologies Inc. This includes the 'FOCUS Complete Care' service agreement that covers firmware updates, calibration services, repairs, and annual preventive maintenance to ensure the scanners remain operational with minimal downtime. Additionally, it includes subscriptions for 'SCENE' and 'ZONE 3D Expert' software for five (5) computers that operate these systems. These subscriptions are essential for processing scan data and generating 3D visualizations used in forensic analysis.

Period of Performance

The contract is set to commence on August 1, 2026, and will conclude on October 31, 2027.

The services will be performed at the Maine State Police Crime Lab located in Maine.

Bidder Requirements

FARO Technologies Inc. is the sole authorized provider of the FARO Focus Laser Scanner hardware and associated services. The procurement is considered a single-source item due to the proprietary nature of the equipment and software required.
