Door Access System Acquisition

Background

Corunna Public Schools is soliciting proposals from qualified companies to provide door access controls for specific doors in the district. The goal of this contract is to enhance security through the installation of controlled access systems across various school facilities.

Work Details

The contractor will provide and install door access control systems at multiple locations within the district, including Corunna High School, Corunna Middle School, and Elsa Meyer Elementary School. Specific tasks include: 1. Corunna High School: - Control and monitor NE High School exterior door, NW CT stairwell exterior door, SE band exterior door. - Install new power supply and two R2R door controllers in the boiler room. - Install three new electronic door latches, three exterior mounted readers, and three-door magnetic contact switches. - Provide installation labor and materials for wiring and hardware installation, access control wire, four new backup batteries, system programming to integrate with existing Honeywell access control JACE, and graphics implementation. 2. Corunna Middle School: - Control and monitor 5W exterior door and 3W exterior door. - Install new power supply and one R2R door controller in the hub room. - Install two new electronic door latches, two exterior mounted readers, two-door magnetic contact switches, auxiliary panel for new R2R, four new backup batteries, system programming to integrate with existing Honeywell access control JACE, and graphics implementation. 3. Elsa Meyer Elementary School: - Control and monitor 5S exterior door, J17 exterior door, 8W exterior door. - Install new power supply and two R2R door controllers in the boiler room. - Install three new electronic door latches, three exterior mounted readers, three-door magnetic contact switches. - Provide installation labor for wiring and hardware installation, access control wire, three new backup batteries, system programming to integrate with existing Honeywell access control JACE, and graphics implementation.

Period of Performance

All items must be delivered on-site and installed on or before August 16.

Corunna Public Schools District located at 124 North Shiawassee Street, Corunna, MI 48817.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide company information including name, headquarters location, years in business, local office location, and primary contact information. Bids must include separate pricing for each district site as well as a bundled district-wide price. Bidders should ensure compliance with all relevant Federal, State, and local laws. Performance bonds and necessary insurance certificates may be required upon request.
