Wedgewood Drainage Improvements Phase 1

Background

The Palmer Township Stormwater Authority is issuing a request for bids for the construction of the Wedgewood Drainage Improvements – Phase 1 project. The goal of this project is to replace existing storm sewer infrastructure and improve drainage in the area, aligning with the authority's mission to manage stormwater effectively.

Work Details

The project involves the replacement of existing storm sewer infrastructure, including: - 18-inch to 48-inch SLCPP storm sewer - Drainage structures - A precast concrete stilling basin - Channel improvements - Pavement restoration - Erosion and sediment controls - All associated appurtenant work. The project includes a Base Bid and an Alternate Bid with similar scope.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to be performed until July 8, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be conducted in Palmer Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all State anti-bid rigging regulations and submit a non-collusion affidavit with their bid. Bidders are required to utilize the Federal Government’s E-Verify system for employee verification as per Pennsylvania's Public Works Employment Verification Act. The estimated cost for this project exceeds $25,000; thus, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies.
