Unarmed Security Guard Services - DOTD

Background

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is seeking to establish a service contract for Unarmed Security Guard Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and security of DOTD facilities and personnel. The Office of State Procurement is responsible for managing this solicitation process.

Work Details

The contractor will provide unarmed security guard services at DOTD District 3 HQ located at 228 Rue Des Voyages, Lafayette, LA 70508. The contract includes a total of 6,826 hours of service at a regular hourly rate as specified in Attachment B - Specifications. The services must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

Period of Performance

The initial period of performance for the contract will be one year, beginning July 1, 2026, or the date of award, whichever is later, and ending June 30, 2027. There is an option for the State to renew the contract for two additional 12-month periods, making the total potential contract duration not to exceed 36 months.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at DOTD District 3 HQ located at 228 Rue Des Voyages, Lafayette, LA 70508.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be licensed with the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners to be considered for award. They are required to submit their current license along with their bid response.
