FY27 Draintile Program

Background

The City of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is issuing a solicitation for the FY27 Draintile Program, which involves the installation of draintile for sump pump discharge at various locations throughout the city. The project aims to enhance public infrastructure and is estimated to cost around $85,000.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the installation of draintile specifically designed for sump pump discharge. The work will take place at multiple sites across Cedar Rapids. All work must comply with the latest editions of the Statewide Urban Design and Specifications (SUDAS) and the City of Cedar Rapids General Supplemental Specifications to SUDAS.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon receipt of a Notice to Proceed and must be completed within 90 working days. The late start date is set for September 14, 2026.

The work will be performed at various sites throughout the City of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be authorized to transact business in Iowa and have maintained an office in Iowa suitable for business operations for at least three years prior to bidding. They must complete a Bidder Status Form as part of their submission. Additionally, performance and payment bonds are required, each amounting to 100% of the contract price.
