Gas Easement Remediation

Background

The City of Warner Robins is seeking bids for the Gas Easement Remediation project, aimed at improving infrastructure and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The project is managed by GWES, LLC., which will oversee the execution of the work in accordance with specified plans and specifications.

Work Details

The contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, safety equipment, permitting, erosion and sedimentation control measures, taxes, profit, overhead, and other costs necessary to complete the following tasks: - Installation of approximately 144 linear feet (L.F.) of 36-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) for nine culvert crossings; - Installation of nine RCP flared end sections with trash racks; - Placement of 270 square yards (S.Y.) of type 3 riprap; - Access drive improvements including installation of 4,000 S.Y. of 200-lb woven fabric and 720 tons (TN) of #4 surge stone; - Associated grading and erosion and sedimentation control. All work must comply with the provided plans and specifications.

Period of Performance

The contract work is to be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed within the City of Warner Robins and its project corridor.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a business license/occupational tax certificate with their bid. They are required to submit a bid bond or certified cashier’s check amounting to 10% of the base bid. Additionally, bidders must demonstrate compliance with E-Verify requirements and provide documentation regarding their qualifications and experience in similar projects.
